A team with the hotels, the houses and the contacts came to us. They had no way to take a booking.
What they came with
They had the supply — hotels, houses, and the relationships that get you both. What they did not have was any way for a guest to actually book one of them.
And nobody searching for a place to stay could find them at all. The supply existed; the demand had no way to reach it.
What we built
The site, a booking system, and a cabinet where a host sees their own listings, their bookings and their notifications. Tiered listings and payment handling on top of it.
Then we took on Google separately, because a marketplace nobody can find is an empty room with the lights on.
What changed
70 real listings are live, and 2,000 people a month arrive from Google search.
The site became visible enough that it started selling advertising space of its own — which is the point at which a website stops being a cost.
