Short version: the only thing you ever hand over is what you type into the contact form. Page views are counted, but without cookies and without anything that could identify you. Nothing is ever sold, handed to advertisers, or used to follow you off this site.

Who is responsible

Max Orucov, working as OnlyMaxon, based in Poland. I am the person who decides what happens to the data described here — the data controller, in the wording of the GDPR. For anything on this page, write to hello@onlymaxon.com.

What is collected

Only what you send yourself: your name, your email address and the text of your message. Nothing is gathered in the background. There is no profile built about you, and no data is bought from anywhere else.

Why

To read your message and reply to it, and to work out a price and a timeline if you want one. That is the whole purpose. In GDPR terms the basis is your request itself — steps taken at your own initiative before a possible contract.

Who else sees it

A message travels through three services before it reaches me: Web3Forms delivers the form, Cloudflare routes the email, and Google hosts the mailbox it lands in. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages, which — like every web server on earth — records IP addresses in its own logs, and the page counter described below is run by Cloudflare. Nobody else receives anything.

How long it is kept

Until your enquiry is finished with, and no longer than 12 months after our last exchange. If we end up working together, the project correspondence is kept for as long as the law requires it. Ask for it to be deleted sooner and it will be.

Cookies and counting

Your browser stores one thing: which language you chose, so the site does not throw you somewhere else on your next visit. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere. Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies at all and cannot tell one visitor from another — it counts page views, not people. No advertising pixels, nothing that follows you elsewhere, and that is exactly why this site never asks you to accept anything.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, object to it being used, or ask for a copy. One email to hello@onlymaxon.com is enough — no form, no reason required. If you are unhappy with how it is handled, you can complain to the Polish supervisory authority, UODO.

If this changes

The date at the top changes with it. Nothing here is applied retroactively to a message you have already sent.
